This site was built by Peter Hannah, director and owner of Lostock Lodge.
Although Peter now declares his occupation as 'care home proprietor', due to his former career in I.T. he could not resist building the website himself. "Building a web site may not be the most cost-effective use of my time", he says, "but it's an indulgence I allow myself because it's good to keep in touch with the latest technical developments".
After early career spells in physics and insurance, Peter moved into I.T. and has dabbled over the years with several programming languages including Fortran, Cobol, C, and Java. He used to help design insurance systems for IBM mainframe computers and later became an I.T. manager before acquiring Lostock Lodge in 2004.
